JERRY SCHATSBERG – MAN OF THE HOLLYWOOD REVIVAL
American photographer and filmmaker Gerald “Jerry” Schatzberg is known as the author of the famous Bob Dylan photo from the cover of the album Blonde on Blonde, as well as the owner of the Cannes Golden Palm Branch for the movie “Scarecrow” with Al Pacino.
However, his forty-year career is more than a list of major achievements, especially since it will take a lot of time to list them.
Jerry Schatzberg – one of the main characters of the Hollywood cinema “Renaissance” of the 70s of the twentieth century. Together with like-minded colleagues and colleagues, he returned to the cinema the importance of introspective storytelling. The emotions of his heroes are restrained, but only for later to be released as brightly as possible. Warm or cold?
Warm colors are more active and emotionally charged. They just “jump” at the viewer, attracting his attention and causing interest. HOW TO EXPOSURE A PHOTO CORRECTLY
There are different views on what can be called a properly exposed picture. For example, the following wording is most often found: “Each photograph should preserve the entire range of tones without loss of detail in light and dark areas.”
A search on Google on this topic offers the following definition: “The correct exposure consists in such a combination of aperture settings, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity, which allows you to get a perfectly exposed image, on which nothing is highlighted and not lost in the shade.”
